The Renault Type DX was an early passenger car model from Renault . It was also called 20 CV .

description

The national licensing authority granted its approval on June 28, 1913. Renault did not have a model of this size and performance in its range before. Production ended in 1914. The successor was the Renault Type FE .

A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 95 mm bore and 160 mm stroke produced 21 hp from a displacement of 4536 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 70 km / h to 80 km / h depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 355.5 cm and a track width of 145 cm, the vehicle was 484.5 cm long and 176 cm wide. The turning circle was specified as 14 to 15 meters. The chassis weighed 1000 kg. The body shape Torpedo has been handed down.
