The Renault Type P was an early passenger car model from Renault . The sports car was only available as a two-seater Phaeton .
description
The model replaced the Renault Type I from. The national licensing authority granted its approval on May 18, 1903. There was no successor.
A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 100 mm bore and 120 mm stroke produced 12 hp from a displacement of 1885 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 71 km / h to 85 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
The chassis weighed 400 kg.
