description

This model was the successor to the Renault Type M . It appeared on the market in October 1903. The national licensing authority granted its approval on October 15, 1903. Successor was Renault Type T .

A single cylinder engine with a 100 mm bore and 110 mm stroke developed 7 hp from a displacement of 864 cm³ . This was Renault's first self-designed single cylinder engine. The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The top speed was specified as 31 km / h to 51 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.

With a wheelbase of 230 cm, the vehicle was 340 cm long and 150 cm wide. The chassis weighed 550 kg, the complete vehicle 900 kg. The body shape Tonneau has been handed down.

In contrast to the larger models, the water cooler mounted on the side of the engine only had nine cooling elements.
