The Renault T-Truck is a long- haul truck that Renault Trucks presented for the first time on June 11, 2013 as the successor to the Renault Magnum and Renault Premium Route - together with the other models of the completely renewed truck range.

construction

The T-Truck as the flagship of the model range is based on the technical construction of the Volvo FH . When developing the driver's cab , the developers paid particular attention to aerodynamics in addition to driving comfort . For example, the windshield is tilted twelve degrees.

The driver's cabs are optionally available with a 200 millimeter high engine tunnel or a flat driver's cab floor (high sleeper). The High Sleeper is supposed to tie in with the special construction of its predecessor Renault Magnum. The design was done in France , especially the radiator design; however, there are clear similarities with the Volvo FH offered by the same group .

Derived from this, the 6-cylinder DTI-11 or DTI-13 common rail - diesel engines . With a displacement of 10.8 liters and 12.8 liters, these two produce 280 to 383 kW and meet the Euro 6 emissions standard. Power is transmitted by the Renault Optidriver automatic transmission .

The rest of the Renault Trucks range of trucks was derived from the T-Truck:
