This model replaced the Renault Type Y from. The national licensing authority granted the license on November 2, 1905. Production continued until 1907. The Renault Type AM was the successor .

A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with a 75 mm bore and 120 mm stroke produced 10 or 10 to 14 hp from a displacement of 2121 cm³ . The engine power was sent to the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The maximum speed was specified as 37 km / h to 57 km / h, depending on the gear ratio.
