Bruno Brechbühl (born July 8, 1974 in Eggiwil ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who has played over 600 national league games during his playing career .

Career

Brechbühl learned to play ice hockey at SC Langnau , where he played his first games in the NLB . In 1992 and 1994 he rose to the NLB with Langnau. In the 1995/96 season he was loaned to HC Friborg-Gottéron for two games , so Brechbühl made his debut in the NLA . In 1998 Brechbühl won the NLB championship with the Emmental and rose to the top division in Switzerland. For the 2003/04 season he moved to Genève-Servette HC . In 2005 he switched to Lausanne HC in the NLB. After another two seasons, Brechbühl continued his career at EHC Visp . In 2009 Brechbühl played one more season with the Huttwil Falcons in the first division before announcing his retirement.
