Bruno "Tute" Lehmann (born February 8, 1896 in Forst (Lausitz) , † September 25, 1969 in Bad Nauheim ) was a German football player who won the German football championship twice in 1930 and 1931 as an active member of Hertha BSC .

career

Forst, until 1928

Bruno Lehmann's football career at FC Askania Forst began in Forst, on the west bank of the Neisse . After the First World War , he developed into an outstanding player personality at FC Viktoria Forst . With the blue-whites from Viktoriaplatz, he made it to the finals in the Southeast Regional Association six times from 1920 to 1926 . In the years 1922, 1925 and 1926 Viktoria Forst qualified with "Tute" Lehmann as a Southeast representative for the games of the German soccer championship. Viktoria failed in the first round at Norden-Nordwest Berlin (1922), Schwarz-Weiß Essen (1925) and at SpVgg Fürth in the 1925/26 season. In the southeast, Forst faced competition from Bytom, Breslau, Gleiwitz, Katowice and Liegnitz. "Tute" Lehmann was a type of playmaker who mostly put his stamp on his team's game on the half-left. Despite excellent technique, he was also characterized by a straight and robust game and scored goals with hard shots on goal. He also proved his versatility in the center runner and center forward position. In terms of sport, he crowned his time with Forst when he moved into the final of the Federal Cup on April 29 in Breslau against Northern Germany in the 1927/28 round with the association selection of Southeast Germany after a 3-2 semi-final success in Chemnitz against Central Germany in January 1928 . As head of defense, the 32-year-old was the guarantor of the 2-0 surprise success against the northern representation. Hertha BSC, 1928 to 1933

In the first season, 1928/29, the man from Forst experienced great success in Berlin. With Hertha he moved in after successes over Prussia Hindenburg , FC Schalke 04 and in the semifinals against 1. Trainer

The sports teacher remained in football as a coach and took on the role of Gausport teacher in East Prussia . During the Second World War he was in charge of Prussia Samland and Lawn Sports / Prussia Königsberg. After the end of the war he worked in West Germany at Cronenberger SC , Marathon Remscheid and TuRU Düsseldorf .

Lehmann died on August 6, 1969 of complications from a stroke .
