Bruno Moeller (railway worker)

Bruno Moeller (born March 20, 1875 in Niebudszen in the Gumbinnen district ; † 1952 ) was a German Reichsbahn official.

Life

After graduating from the Friedrichsschule Gumbinnen , Bruno Moeller studied law and political science at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In 1893 he joined the Corps Littuania . After both state exams, he joined the Prussian State Railway Administration as a government assessor . After working as an unskilled worker for a railway directorate , he was promoted to the head of a railway traffic office. This was followed by the appointment to a member of a railway directorate and promotion to the government council before he was appointed ministerial councilor in the Reich Ministry of Transport . From August 1, 1922 until his retirement he was President of the Reich Railway Directorate in Königsberg .

Moeller was Rittmeister of the Reserve in Dragoon Regiment No. 11. He was chairman of the supervisory board of Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft Ostpreußen and Ostpreußenwerk AG. In 1930 he was elected member of the General Synod of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union by the Provincial Synod of the Church Province of East Prussia . In 1951, as an old man, he took part in the establishment of the Königsberg traditional corps Albertina.
