Bruno Stephan

Bruno Stephan (born July 30, 1907 in Berlin ; † January 5, 1981 there ) was a German cameraman .

Stephan started working in film in 1923 immediately after leaving school. He first worked as a volunteer in a lab , from 1930 he was Swivel , camera assistant and cameraman easier. Several times he was part of Franz Planer's team.

In 1939 he became an independent cameraman in the service of the UFA , in 1940 he moved to Bavaria in Munich . Until the end of the war he worked especially in Czech studios.

At the beginning of 1948 he took up his profession again in Berlin and Hamburg . In the 1960s he was only employed in television and, among other things, was responsible for the outdoor shots of the popular multi-part series Das Halstuch .
