The nature reserve (NSG) beech forests between Mühlenberg and Hasselburg is a nature reserve in the Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia , which consists of three sub-areas. The 573.3692 hectare NSG with the key number HX-007 was designated in 1940. It is located in the area of ​​the city of Beverungen south of the core city. The state road L 838 runs through the area, while the L 83 runs on the eastern and northern edges. The Weser flows not far to the east and north. The state border with Hessen runs along the southern edge of the area .
