The 33.2796 hectare NSG with the key number HX-074, consisting of four sub-areas, was designated in 1996. It is located in the area of ​​the city of Warburg, southeast of the core city of Warburg, on both sides of the B 7, northeast of the Warburg district of Calenberg and east and southwest of the Warburg district of Dalheim .
