Bundestag constituency Harburg - Soltau
The constituency of Harburg - Soltau or Soltau - Harburg was a federal constituency in Lower Saxony. It comprised the area of the Harburg district , the former Soltau district and the Uelzen district of the city of Uelzen , as well as the combined communities of Altes Amt Ebstorf and Suderburg . In the federal elections from 1949 to 1961 the constituency was designated 36 Harburg - Soltau and in the elections from 1965 to 1976 the designation 30 Soltau - Harburg . In 1980 it was divided into constituencies 30 Soltau - Rotenburg and 35 Harburg .
In the course of the reorganization of the electoral districts before the federal election in 2002, parts of the districts of Harburg and Soltau-Fallingbostel were again merged into the federal constituency 36 Soltau-Fallingbostel - Winsen L. for the federal elections in 2002 and 2005. This constituency was dissolved again for the 2009 Bundestag election, as the constituency of the constituencies was changed in north-eastern Lower Saxony as part of the establishment of an additional constituency.

1) In 1953 Seebohm was the joint candidate of an electoral alliance of the CDU, FDP and DP . The CDU and the FDP did not put up their own candidates and called for Seebohm to be elected.
