Dünzelbach Castle

The castle Dünzelbach is an Outbound medieval motte (moth) immediately south of the Church of Dünzelbach , in the municipality of Moorenweis in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck in Bavaria .

In 1367 the castle was sold to the Knights of Seefeld. In 1765 the castle was demolished. Nothing has survived from the former moth enclosure . Today the site is registered as a ground monument D-1-7832-0045 "Castle stable with tower mound of the Middle Ages and the early modern times ('Veste Dünzlbach')" by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation .
