, The castle Hardeck is an Outbound hilltop castle in the district Mundelfingen the city Hüfingen in Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg .
history
In 1108 Heinrich and Werner von Hardegg are mentioned, who were followers of the Zähringer family and who later belonged to the founders of the Friedenweiler monastery .
Only traces of the terrain are evidence of the castle. Clearly recognizable are a five meter deep and ten meter wide neck ditch and an oval castle hill with three peaks on the top, which may indicate former locations of buildings. The castle site is on the border with Aselfingen above a steep slope on the left side of the Wutach .
