The castle Vogtsberg is an Outbound hilltop castle on 270  m above sea level. NN above the Thierbach between Acholshausen and the community Gaukönigshofen in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg in Bavaria .

Vogtsberg Castle was originally built as a Fliehburg , was expanded into a medieval castle over the centuries and destroyed in the Palatinate Peasants' War in 1525 . The castle stable only shows the moat and is now a ground monument .
