Burgholz is a forest area and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Gars am Kamp in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

The Burgholz lies on a knoll between Loiwelsöd and Tautendorf and is drained by the Hirschbach , which flows into the Kamp at Gars .

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 53 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 156 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 49 hectares and 159 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 47 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 159 hectares. The average soil climate of Burgholz is 27.4 (as of 2010).
