The Burgstall Kirchberg is an abandoned high or late medieval hilltop castle about 300 meters north of the church of Kirchberg , a current district of Eggenfelden in the Rottal-Inn district in Bavaria .
The shield wall and moat of the former hilltop castle complex, a one-storey residence , are still preserved, the southern tip is disturbed by gravel mining.
