The Postal Rudolfstein is an Outbound hilltop castle on the Rudolfstein at 849 m above sea level. NHN south-southwest of Weißenstadt in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge in Bavaria .
The castle was built in the 13th century by the Reichsministeriale von Hirschberg and burned down in 1412. The Waldsassen Monastery is also named as another owner .
Wall pieces between five rock towers still bear witness to the former castle complex.
