Butendiek is a district of the Lilienthal community in the Osterholz district in Lower Saxony .
In 1937 Butendiek was incorporated into Lilienthal together with Trupe , Trupermoor , Falkenberg and Moorhausen.
Geography and transport links
The district is located south of the core area of Lilienthal directly on the western, southern and eastern border with Bremen . The Wümme flows south. To the south and south-east, in the Bremen area, lies the Borgfelder Wümmewiesen nature reserve . To the southwest and west, also in Bremen, lies the Untere Wümme nature reserve .
The A 27 runs a short distance south.
