Cüneyt Baykan (born January 2, 1991 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been playing for İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK in the Turkish Super League since 2014 .

Career

Cüneyt Baykan began his career with Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK , for whom he made his debut in the Turkish Super League in 2008 as a 17-year-old . In 2009 and 2012 he was the Turkish runner-up with the team. In 2013 he moved to the second division club Buz Korsanlar for one season. Since 2014 he has been playing in the Super League again with İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK and won the runner-up again in 2016.

International

For Turkey, Baykan took at youth level in the Division III at the U18 World Championships in 2007 , 2008 and 2009 and the U20 World Championships in 2008 , 2010 as he best preparers and together with the Icelandic Matthias Sigurðarson was also top scorer of the tournament, and in 2011 some .

With the men's national team he played at the World Championships in Division III in 2009 and 2011 and in Division II in 2010 .
