The Cabalaki ( Foho Cabalaki , Kabalaki , Kablaki , Kabulaki , Foho Kabulaki ) is a mountain in East Timor with an altitude of 2459  m (other source: 2020  m ). It is the highest mountain in the Manufahi municipality and is located in Suco Holarua ( Same administrative office ).

From 1976 the Cabalaki was a retreat for the FALINTIL , who fought against the Indonesian invaders. Here she founded a base de apoio , a resistance base that offered refuge for refugees from Mauchiga , Same , Letefoho , Aileu and Atsabe . In early 1979 the base was destroyed by the Indonesians.

On August 20, 1982, the Cabalaki uprising ( Levantamento de Cabalaki ) took place in Mauchiga, Dare , Mulo (all Hatu-Builico , municipality of Ainaro ), Aituto ( administrative office of Maubisse , municipality of Ainaro) and Rotuto (Same). FALINTIL fighters and some local residents attacked several Indonesian bases in the region. So the Koramil in Dare, Koramil and police in Hatu-Builico and the Hansip (civil defense) in Aituto, Rotuto and Raimerhei . The Indonesians immediately sent troops to the region. In Dare houses were burned down, schools closed and women and children were forced to keep watch in military posts. There were also forced relocations, pillage, looting and rape. The military posts were set up in every Aldeia in the region, plus eight community posts around Dare. FALINTIL fighters and a large part of the population fled the area, some to the Cabalaki.
