Carina Reiter

Carina Reiter (born November 22, 1988 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). She has been a member of the National Council since October 23, 2019 .

Life

After attending primary school in Pöham and secondary school in Werfen, Carina Reiter attended the higher education institute for agriculture and the food industry in Pitzelststätten from 2003 to 2008 . She then worked as an education manager at the Rural Further Education Institute (LFI) Salzburg. In 2014/15 she was a project employee at the Federal Apprenticeship and Specialized Training Center (LFA), 2015/16 employee in the service department at Maschinenring Pongau and from 2016 to 2018 assistant to the sales management at Raiffeisenverband Salzburg (Lagerhaus-Technik Salzburg). She has been the district manager of the Pinzgau People's Party since 2018 .

From 2011 to 2013 Reiter was the local group leader of the rural youth in Pfarrwerfen and in 2013/14 the district leader of the rural youth in Pongau-Tennengau Sankt Johann im Pongau. Since 2016 she has represented the rural youth in Austria in the Committee for Education and Advice of the Chamber of Agriculture . In Pfarrwerfen she has been a member of the municipal council since the 2014 election . In the case of the young farmers of the Austrian Farmers' Union , she is a member of the Salzburg provincial executive board and of the federal executive committee. Since 2018 she has been a member of the district executive committee of the ÖVP Pongau, the state executive committee of the Salzburg workers' union and the state executive committee of the Salzburg People's Party . Since 2019 she has been a member of the Chamber of Labor for the ÖAAB- FCG parliamentary group.

In the 2019 National Council election she ran for the ÖVP behind top candidate Franz Eßl as second in the list in the regional constituency of Lungau / Pinzgau / Pongau and fifth in the regional constituency of Salzburg . On October 23, 2019 she was at the beginning of the XXVII. Legislative period as a member of the Austrian National Council .
