In addition, the artist designed two reliefs on the facade of the art museum, namely an Eos bringing light and a Daidalos . The Hirschsprung Collection houses the bronze statuette Aarsleff completed in 1895, a little centaur playing with its tail . Aarsleff created the altar cross for the Saxogade church and six guards for the main facade of the Copenhagen City Hall. From 1900 to 1912 he also restored the sarcophagus of Queen Margaret I in Roskilde Cathedral . 77 of his original works were donated to the Nyborg Museum after his death in early 1918 at the age of 65.
