Carl Christian Wilhelm May
Carl Christian Wilhelm May (born May 7, 1777 in Kaltennordheim ; † September 6, 1846 in Eisenach ) was a German local politician and from 1832 until his death mayor of the city of Eisenach in Thuringia .
Life
May initially worked as an employee of the ducal administration in Eisenach. Since 1810 he had the citizenship of Eisenach. In 1822 he became the government and guardianship secretary of the mayor Friedrich Günther Beyer . After his death, May was elected mayor on June 30, 1832, who remained in office until his death on September 6, 1846.
