Carlinhos , real name Carlos Vinícius Santos de Jesús (born June 22, 1994 in Camacan , Bahia ), is a Brazilian soccer player who is currently used as a striker .
Career
Carlinhos started playing football at the Brazilian club Desportivo Brasil . There he made the leap into the first team squad in 2011.
Early May 2012. stayed Carlinhos after the end of the season as a guest player during regeneration - training camp of the German Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Norderney . There he was used in two friendly matches and scored one goal. At the end of June 2012, Bayer Leverkusen announced the signing of Carlinhos. It was borrowed for a year for a fee of 100,000 euros . The club also secured a right of first refusal. Only on November 4, 2012, the 10th matchday of the 2012/13 season , was Carlinhos the first time in the Bundesliga squad for the home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf (3-2), but was not used. Four days later, however, he made his first appearance for Bayer Leverkusen on matchday four of the group stage of the 2012/13 Europa League when he came on for Dani Carvajal in the 74th minute in the home game against SK Rapid Wien (3-0) .
In January 2013 Carlinhos was awarded to the second division club SSV Jahn Regensburg until the end of the 2012/13 season . Carlinhos played his first game in the 5-1 defeat by Hertha BSC .
Both loan deals ended in summer 2013. He was primarily used as a right full-back , but can also act as a defensive midfielder .
Carlinhos has now returned to Atletico Monte Azul in Brazil. However, he did not play a game for this club, but was loaned to the Swiss clubs FC Aarau , FC Thun and the Portuguese club GD Estoril Praia .
Carlinhos has been playing for Standard Liège since the 2017/18 season . In the 2018/19 season he is listed as a striker in the squad.
In January 2019, he was loaned to the Brazilian club Guarani FC for six months . After his return, there was a loan for the 2019/20 season with a subsequent purchase option to Vitória Setúbal , who plays in the top Portuguese league .
