Carlos Eduardo Cabezas Jurado (born November 14, 1980 in Málaga ) is a Spanish basketball player . He plays in the position of point guard .

career

Carlos Cabezas began his career in the youth of Unicaja Málaga . From 1998 to 2000 he played for the B-team of the Andalusians . He made his first-team league debut on February 13, 2000 against FC Barcelona . In the same season he played from April on loan in the LEB , the second Spanish division, for Círculo Badajoz . From the 2000/01 season he was finally transferred to the first squad of Unicaja Málaga. The talented point guard celebrated numerous successes with his club . Already in his first season he won the Korać Cup with a final victory against KK Hemofarm . In the 2004/05 season he and his team beat Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Cup 80:76, ​​for Málaga this was the first national title in the club's history.
