Carlos Enrique García Camader (born August 14, 1954 in Lima ) is Bishop of Lurín (Peru).

Life

Carlos Enrique García Camader studied philosophy and theology at the Major Seminary of Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo in Lima and was ordained a priest on December 8, 1981 . In 1981 he became vicar of the parish “Santisima Cruz”, Barranco , Lima. In 1984 he became vice-rector and then rector of the preparatory seminar “Casa de Nazareth” in Lima and in 1991 rector of the Grand Seminary of Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo and at the same time executive secretary of the episcopal commission for seminars and vocations of the appeal committee of the Archdiocese of Lima.

On February 16, 2002, John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Villamagna in Proconsulari and auxiliary bishop in Lima. He received his episcopal ordination in the Cathedral of Lima on April 7th of the same year by the Archbishop of Lima , Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne ; Co- consecrators were Rino Passigato , Apostolic Nuncio in Peru , and Alcides Mendoza Castro , Archbishop of Cuzco .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 17, 2006 Bishop of Lurín .
