Carlos Quevedo (born February 23, 1993 in Puigcerdà ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been playing for the Robert Morris Colonials , the team of Robert Morris University , from Pittsburgh in the National Collegiate Athletic Association since 2015 .

Career

Carlos Quevedo began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the CG Puigcerdà from his hometown. In 1997 he moved to the French top club Dragons de Rouen , for whose U18 juniors he ran up in the 2007/28 season at the age of 14. He then moved to the Finnish club FoPS , for which he also played in the U18 for a year. Since 2009 the attacker has played alternately for the youth department of Ilves Tampere and Koo-Vee . In 2013 he returned to FoPS. In 2015 he moved to the United States, where he played for the Robert Morris University team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association .

International

For Spain , Quevedo took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division II 2011 and the U20 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 and 2013 when he was the captain of the Spanish youth team. At the Winter Universiade 2015 in Granada , he finished ninth with the Spanish student selection.

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Cup in Division I in 2011 and Division II in 2012 , 2014 and 2016 . He also represented his colors at the qualifying tournament for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi .
