Carville is a former French community with 343 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017), the Carvillais , in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .

On January 1, 2016, Carville was incorporated into the new municipality of Souleuvre en Bocage as a district as part of a regional reform together with 19 neighboring municipalities, which like Carville all belonged to the disbanded municipal association Bény-Bocage .

Carville is about eleven kilometers north of Vire-Normandie .
