Campeaux is a former French community with 584 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017), the Campelais , in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .
On January 1, 2016, Campeaux was incorporated into the new municipality of Souleuvre en Bocage as a district in the course of a regional reform together with 19 neighboring municipalities, which like Campeaux all belonged to the disbanded municipality association Bény-Bocage .
geography
Campeaux is about 14 kilometers north of Vire-Normandie . In the north it borders minimally on the department of Manche .
