Cast in Steel ( English for "poured in steel") is the tenth studio album by the Norwegian pop-rock band a-ha . The album was released on September 4th, 2015 - three weeks before the trio performed at the mega festival Rock in Rio and 30 years after the release of their debut single Take On Me , which hit number one in the charts worldwide.

The cover shows the original a-ha logo for the first time, which has not been used since Memorial Beach in 1993. The album was produced by Alan Tarney , who last worked with the band on Stay on These Roads in 1988 .
