Centuria is located in northwest Wisconsin, about 8 km east of the St. Croix River . This forms the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota and flows into the Mississippi about 100 km south-southwest of Centuria .

The Gandy Dancer State Trail runs through the municipality of Centuria in a northeast-southwest direction . This is a combined hiking and cycling path known as a Rail Trail on the route of a disused railway line.
