Centuria is located in northwest Wisconsin, about 8 km east of the St. Croix River . This forms the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota and flows into the Mississippi about 100 km south-southwest of Centuria .
The geographical coordinates of Centuria are 45 ° 27'05 "north latitude and 92 ° 33'15" west longitude. The municipality extends over an area of 4.4 km² and is completely surrounded by the Town of St. Croix Falls without belonging to it.

The Gandy Dancer State Trail runs through the municipality of Centuria in a northeast-southwest direction . This is a combined hiking and cycling path known as a Rail Trail on the route of a disused railway line. The name of the path goes back to the slang word Gandy Dancer , which was used to describe a railroad worker.
