Chaix & Morel et Associés is a French architecture firm based in Paris ( 20th arrondissement ).

Philippe Chaix, who graduated from the University of Paris 6 in 1972 , and Jean-Paul Morel, who graduated from the Nancy School of Architecture in 1976 , formed their architectural community in 1983 to plan and oversee their first joint project, the Zénith in Paris. The community of architects has grown over the years and so far has mainly focused on cultural, sporting and leisure facilities.
In 2010 the new administration building of ThyssenKrupp AG , Q1 on the Krupp campus, was completed in Essen , which Chaix & Morel planned together with the Cologne office of JSWD Architekten .
Planned and executed projects (selection)
- 2019: General renovation of the building of the Main Association of Austrian Social Insurance Institutions in the vicinity of the Wittgenstein House in Vienna .
- 2015: Renovation for the 2016 European Football Championship of the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne .
- 2011: 1st prize in the international competition - House of European History in Brussels (Musée de l'Europe), in partnership with JSWD Architects, Cologne: under construction
- 2011: 1st prize competition - Jean Monnet 2 in Luxembourg in partnership with JSWD Architects, Cologne and architectur + aménagement s. a., Luxembourg
- 2010: Completion of the renovation and expansion of Banque Postale in Paris
- 2009: 1st prize for a new theater building in Sénart, France - completion in 2012
- 2009: 1st prize competition - New Theater in Cologne
- 2009: Swimming pool in Aubervilliers , France: under construction
- 2008: 1st prize competition - new company headquarters for the tire manufacturer Michelin in Clement-Ferrand (FR) - completion 2014
- 2008: Construction of the Zénith concert hall in St. Denis , Réunion
- 2006–2010: in partnership with JSWD Architekten, Cologne, construction of the new Krupp-Gürtel office district of ThyssenKrupp AG in Essen: in execution (approx. 100,000 square meters)
- 2006: Construction of the Zénith concert hall with 8000 seats for the region of Nantes , Brittany in Saint-Herblain
- 2005: Maison de la Région Alsace in Strasbourg
