Chevillon is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Charny Orée de Puisaye with 323 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté ; it belonged to the Arrondissement of Auxerre and the Canton of Charny . Chevillon is a district of the Charny Orée de Puisaye municipality.

Chevillon was founded on January 1, 2016 with 13 other municipalities, namely Chambeugle , Charny , Chêne-Arnoult , Dicy , Fontenouilles , Grandchamp , Malicorne , Marchais-Beton , Perreux , Prunoy , Saint-Denis-sur-Ouanne , Saint-Martin-sur -Ouanne , Villefranche merged to form the Commune nouvelle Charny Orée de Puisaye.
