Chambeugle is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Charny Orée de Puisaye with 49 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

From 1996 to 2014 Chambeugle was part of the Communauté de communes de la Région de Charny .

Chambeugle was founded on January 1, 2016 with 13 other municipalities, namely Charny , Chêne-Arnoult , Chevillon , Dicy , Fontenouilles , Grandchamp , Malicorne , Marchais-Beton , Perreux , Prunoy , Saint-Denis-sur-Ouanne , Saint-Martin-sur -Ouanne , Villefranche merged to form the Commune nouvelle Charny Orée de Puisaye. The municipality of Chambeugle belonged to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Charny .
