Malicorne (formerly Malicorne-en-Puisaye) is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Charny Orée de Puisaye with 152 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Yonne department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It is located on the Branlin River .

From 1996 to 2014 Malicorne was part of the Communauté de communes de la Région de Charny .

The municipality of Malicorne was founded on January 1, 2016 with 13 other municipalities, namely Chambeugle , Charny , Chêne-Arnoult , Chevillon , Dicy , Fontenouilles , Grandchamp , Marchais-Beton , Perreux , Prunoy , Saint-Denis-sur-Ouanne , Saint-Martin -sur-Ouanne , Villefranche merged to form the Commune nouvelle Charny Orée de Puisaye. The municipality of Malicorne belonged to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Charny .
