Chris Ares

Chris Ares (* 1992 in Freiburg im Breisgau , bourgeois Christoph Aljoscha Zloch ) is a German rapper . The Bavarian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution classifies him as a right-wing extremist .

Life

Chris Ares lives in the Munich district . He is considered the most important head of the new right-wing extremist rap scene (often called Nazi rap ) in Germany. Since 2016, Zloch has been classified as a right-wing extremist by the Bavarian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution . He is now a "major player in the West German identity music scene". Ares has connections to the New Right and the Identitarian Movement and is supported by Martin Sellner , Oliver Janich and Oliver Flesch . He also uses their symbolism in his videos and addresses typical topics such as the “ Great Exchange ” and ethnopluralism in his texts. He also maintains contacts with the AfD .

Ares is a member of the "Alliance of German Patriots" (BDP) founded in 2016. At an AfD election event in 2016, there was a journalistically documented attack by Chris Ares.

Its 2014-2018 release reached high positions in the hip-hop charts for a short time on various download platforms such as iTunes . Ares published together with Kai Alexander Naggert, who under the stage name occurs "prototype", in September 2019 the song NDS - New German standard and thus gained a position in the charts of Media Control . In the official download charts (see basics of chart determination ) from MTV Germany , the single reached number 6.

He is under contract with Arcadi Musik , a brand of Arcadi Verlag. This is also assigned to the right scene. In August 2019 he announced the founding of his own label Neuer Deutscher Standard .

After the German singer Xavier Naidoo attracted attention in April 2020 for spreading conspiracy theories and being close to the Reich Citizens' Movement, he mentioned the possibility of working with Ares, with whom he was in contact, in an interview.

His second album Ares was released in early July 2020 . After protests, the album was taken out of the range by Amazon . Also Spotify decided to remove the album from the platform. This also prevented the rapper from being placed in the chart. In Switzerland, on the other hand, the album reached number 44 on the local album charts.

In mid-August 2020, the video platform YouTube blocked the right-wing extremist rapper's account because the content violated the website's hate speech policy.

Planned youth center

At the end of June 2020, plans were announced that Ares was planning to set up a youth center in Bischofswerda , Saxony , in which martial arts training and music workshops should take place. In addition, Ares is planning a settlement for "like-minded people" between Dresden and Pulsnitz consisting of four houses. On July 1, 2020, all city council parliamentary groups spoke out against the youth center. After this became known, Ares called on his channels to consider the Bischofswerda AfD district association with a shitstorm . This call was supported by Martin Sellner , one of the leading forces of the Identitarian Movement .
