Christianity in Namibia

The Christianity in Namibia is by far the most widespread religion. Over 90% of the population of Namibia belong to different Christian churches . The Lutherans, who are divided into three churches, make up a particularly high proportion (around 50%) of the population of Namibia . The ELCIN extends as far as possible to the densely populated northern Namibia, with both the German-speaking DELK and the English or Afrikaans-speaking ELCRN having a greater presence in central and southern Namibia .

For many Christians in Namibia, traditional religions often still have a relatively high priority.
