Christian Beyer (painter)
Christian Beyer (born June 9, 1883 in Frankfurt am Main ; † November 3, 1967 in Kassel ) was a German watercolorist , painter and architect .
Education and life
Christian Beyer studied at the Technical University of Darmstadt Architecture and graduated in 1910 with a diploma from. From 1910 to 1913 he was government construction manager in Friedberg . Then he was a construction officer u. a. in Bad Orb . From 1921 he worked at the Reichsbauamt in Kassel. In Kassel he began to paint as an autodidact . In 1925 he was one of the members of the Kassel Secession around Arnold Bode .
