Christian Eyenga Moenge (born June 22, 1989 in Kinshasa , Democratic Republic of the Congo ) is a Congolese basketball player .

Career

When Eyenga was drafted , he was still in the service of the basketball club CB Prat of the Spanish third division . He played a year after he was drafted first in the 2010 NBA Summer League for the Cleveland Cavaliers . He then signed a 2-year contract worth a total of $ 2 million. The contract included a team option for a third and fourth year. On November 18, 2010, Eyenga was sent to the NBA Development League (D-League) to the Erie BayHawks . On January 2, 2011, he was ordered back to the Cavaliers and made his NBA debut that same day in a game against the Dallas Mavericks .

On March 15, 2012, Eyenga joined the Los Angeles Lakers with Ramon Sessions . The Cavaliers received Jason Kapono , Luke Walton and a first-round draft pick in exchange . During the summer break, Eyenga was transferred to the Orlando Magic as part of the swap deal for Dwight Howard . For Magic, Eyenga ran on in preparation for the 2012/13 season , but his contract was terminated before the start of the season.

He then moved to the D-League and received a contract with the Texas Legends .
