Christian Krieglmeier (born June 26, 1979 in Landsberg am Lech ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper . Since 2013 he has been working as a goalkeeping coach in the youth performance center at FC Augsburg .

Career

Krieglmeier started in the youth of FC Augsburg. In 2000, as a young prospective player, he moved to the Bundesliga relegated SSV Ulm 1846 , but did not appear as the third man behind Andreas Hilfiker and Holger Betz . After the team was relegated to the amateur camp, he went to the second division SSV Reutlingen in 2001 , where he was substitute goalkeeper behind Goran Ćurko and Achim Hollerieth in the following two seasons and came to two missions.

In 2003, Krieglmeier moved back to his hometown club, the then regional division FC Augsburg , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2006. In the Regionalliga time he came as a substitute goalkeeper to a total of seven missions, since the promotion he was behind Zdenko Miletić and Sven Neuhaus, the third goalkeeper of the team, but did not play a game. His contract was not renewed. He is now working for a sporting goods manufacturer and has finished his professional career. In 2008 he went to TSV Gersthofen in the state league, but rose to the Bayern league in 2011 . In 2012 he returned to FC Augsburg to play in the second team in the Regionalliga Bayern .
