Christian Schloyer (born September 27, 1976 in Erlangen ) is a German writer who has so far mainly emerged with poetry . He lives in Nuremberg .

Career

Schloyer studied philosophy , German , theater and media studies with a focus on philosophy of language and epistemology at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg . After graduating, he started his own business as a writer, editor , copywriter and literary organizer. In 2000 he was the initiator of the authors' group and text workshop “ Wortwerk in Erlangen and Nuremberg , and he is an editorial member of the literary magazine BLUMENFRESSER . Texts by him have also appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies , including a. in the Neue Rundschau , the Bella dreary and in the poet .

In 2003 Schloyer was awarded the Nuremberg Culture Shops Prize . In 2004 he took first place at the open mike in Berlin , one of the most important German competitions for young literary talents. In 2007 he was awarded the Leonce and Lena Prize , the most prestigious prize for young German-language poetry. In the same autumn, his debut volume spiel-ur- meere was published by KOOKbooks . Other prizes and awards: LCB residency grant from the Berlin Senate (autumn 2008), 2nd prize at the Wartholz literature competition in Austria (2009), Literature Prize from the Erlangen Cultural Foundation (2009) . In 2011 he was awarded the prize for August Graf von Platen Prize awarded. In 2012 his second volume of poetry, Panik - blüten, was published at the Leipzig Poetenladen . In 2016 he received the Munich Poetry Prize .
