Christoph Melischko (born July 25, 1983 in Schongau ) is a former German ice hockey player and certified sports specialist .
Career
Christoph Melischko played 1999/2000 for the youth league team of SC Riessersee , with whom he took part in the DNL in 2000/01 and was the league top scorer after the preliminary round. A year later, the center was active for one season for the SCR's second division team before moving to ERC Ingolstadt in the DEL , where he was able to steadily improve the number of his scorer points.
In 2005 Christoph Melischko won the German Ice Hockey Cup with the ERC Ingolstadt . In November 2006 he was one of the players who took part in a mass brawl at the ERC Ingolstadt game against the Kölner Haie . From 2008 to 2010 Christoph Melischko played for the Kölner Haie. In March 2010 he signed a two-year contract with the DEL Club Kassel Huskies .
Due to the insolvency of the Kassel Huskies, Melischko switched to Schwenninger Wild Wings in September 2010 . Due to a serious knee injury, he had to end his professional career after he was unable to play a game for the Wild Wings during the 2011/12 season. In September 2012 Melischko completed his advanced training as a sports specialist .
International
When Germany Cup 2008, the attacker made his international debut and was part of the squad of the German national ice hockey team . Melischko scored his first international goal on April 25, 2008 when Germany played against Denmark.
