His motorsport career began higher in 2003 in karting , in which he remained active until 2012. In the summer of 2012, Höher switched to formula racing . At first he only drove a few formula races to the Austrian racing car championship. In 2012 he won the OSK Cup of the Austrian racing car championship. In 2013 he started his Formula 3 for Franz Wöss Racing in several racing championships. With numerous series victories, Chris Höher won the Austrian racing car championship, the Hungarian racing car championship, the racing car championship of the Czech Republic, the FIA-CEZ Central European championship for formula racing cars, in Slovakia the ESET-V4-Cup for formula racing cars as well as the LUKY-Trophy and in Austria too still the REMUS Formula 3 trophy as the best formula racing driver. In 2013, he also took part in a German Formula 3 event for Franz Wöss Racing and was a guest starter in the European F3 Open for the West-Tec F3 team . In 2014 Höher took part in four events of the Euroformula Open, the former European F3 Open, for BVM Racing . With a third place in Monza, he achieved a podium placement. He was 13th in the drivers' championship. In addition, Höher received a cockpit in the GP3 series at Jenzer Motorsport for an event . In 2015 Chris Höher repeated the overall victories of the Austrian racing car championship, the Czech racing car championship, the ESET-V4-Cup and he again won the LUKY-Trophy of Slovakia and the FIA-CEZ Central European Championship for with his Formula 3 and the Franz Wöss Racing team Formula racing car. In 2015 Höher took part in a GP3 series event for Campos Racing . In spring 2016, the first test drives for the BOSS GP series in a GP2 from the Top-Speed team took place at the Automotodrom in Brno. For this team, Chris Höher drove a number of races in the Formula Class in the BOSS GP with the GP2 from Team Top-Speed in 2016. He started in Monza, Brno and Imola. In Monza and Brno he was able to win the Saturday races, in Imola he finished second. In 2017 Chris Höher started with Elia Erhart for the AUDI Sport Racing Academy in the ADAC GT Masters. In 2019 there was another guest start at the Automotodrom in Brno with the GP2 from Team Top-Speed in the BOSS GP series. Chris Höher won both races in the Formula Class in the international BOSS GP series at the Masaryk Racing Days.
