Christopher James Coyne (born June 17, 1958 in Woburn , Massachusetts , USA ) is Bishop of Burlington .

Life

After a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Lowell , Christopher Coine entered St. John's Seminary in Boston and completed his master's degree in 1986.

Christopher Coyne received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Boston on June 7, 1986 through the Archbishop of Boston, Bernard Francis Cardinal Law .

On June 14, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Mopta and auxiliary bishop in Indianapolis . The Archbishop of Indianapolis, Daniel Mark Buechlein OSB , donated him episcopal ordination on March 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Cleveland , Richard Gerard Lennon , and the Bishop of Cheyenne , Paul Dennis Etienne . On September 21, 2011 Benedict XVI appointed him. until the inauguration of the new Archbishop of Indianapolis on December 3, 2012 as Apostolic Administrator of that Archdiocese.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Burlington on December 22, 2014 . The inauguration took place on January 29, 2015.
