Christopher Murray (actor)

Christopher Murray (born March 15, 1957 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor . His most famous role is that of Rector Dean Rivers in the series Zoey 101 .

Life

Christopher Murray is the son of actor Don Murray and film and television actress Hope Lange . The film composer Sean Murray is his brother. His grandparents were already in the entertainment business. His maternal grandfather was a conductor and his maternal grandmother was an actress in New York. His paternal grandfather was a Broadway actor and his paternal grandmother was a dancer. Murray was at the American Place Theater in New York City , where he was a classmate of Chris Cooper and Tom Wright , among others . He studied medicine at Carleton College in Northfield .
