Christopher Nolan's filmography lists all the films in which the British - American film director , screenwriter and film producer was involved. The list provides information about which films were produced by and with him and which tasks he took on in film production , as well as other important information.
Until his feature film debut in 1997 with Following , he produced short films during his student days, only one of which was released on DVD, taking on many film jobs himself due to the small budget. Following was his only low-budget feature film to date at just £ 6,000 -Production, his later feature films had budgets in the millions of dollars, with Batman Begins Nolan's first big budget production of over $ 150 million and its first box office hit .
