The 2nd Circuit d'Alger (officially: Circuit International d'Alger ) took place on March 16, 2012 in the Algerian capital, Algiers . The one-day race was part of the UCI Africa Tour 2012 in category 1.2 and formed the conclusion of the Tour d'Algérie that had ended two days earlier , but in which it was not part of the overall standings. The first eight riders received points for the ranking of the Africa Tour.

The race started at the Palace of Culture in Algiers , where the finish line was. The drivers had to complete a total of ten laps of 10.5 kilometers each on the course, which also had a few small climbs.
