The 10th Tour du Cameroun (English: Cameroon Tour ) took place from March 8th to 17th, 2012. The bike race was held in eight stages with two days of rest. It was part of the UCI Africa Tour 2012 and was classified in category 2.2 . The first eight drivers in the overall ranking and the first three of each stage as well as those wearing the yellow jersey of the overall leader received points for the Africa ranking list after each stage.
Overall winner of the stage race which was locals Yves Ngue Ngock (National Cameroon), who last October with the Grand Prix Chantal Biya had already won the other international cycling race in his homeland. He won with almost two minutes ahead of second-placed Vincent Graczyk from France and Ivorian Issiaka Fofana .
Attendees
National teams from the host country, Ivory Coast , Gabon , the Republic of the Congo , the Central African Republic and Switzerland were at the start . Drivers from Slovakia and France also took part.
