Claire Coffee (born April 14, 1980 in San Francisco , California ) is an American television actress who starred in 170 episodes of the television series General Hospital from 2007 to 2009 and starred in the series Grimm from 2011 to 2017 .

Life

Coffee gained her first stage experience in the Bay Area and the Central Coast Area before studying at Northwestern University in Evanston , Illinois . After graduating with a bachelor 's degree, she moved to Los Angeles .

Since 2001, Coffee has played guest and supporting roles in various American television series such as CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators , Bones - The Bone Hunter , CSI: Miami , Franklin & Bash and in film and television productions. She gained a certain fame from 2007 as Nadine Crowell in General Hospital . 2011-2017 she played the role of Adalind Schade in the series Grimm .

Coffee has been married to the musician Chris Thile since December 23, 2013 . In May 2015 she gave birth to their son.
